City Clerk

Thank you for visiting the City Clerk's Office. The Office of City Clerk is dedicated to providing a variety of services to the public, City Council and staff. We remain committed to being responsive to serving the needs of our community.

The City Clerk's Office is the custodian of all City records. This Office shall give notice of all meetings of the City Council and keep minutes of the proceedings. The City Clerk prepares all agendas. The City Clerk shall authenticate by signature and be custodian of Minutes, Resolutions, Ordinances and other official documents. The City Clerk handles all requests under the Georgia Open Records Act. The City Clerk also issues occupational tax certificates, alcohol licenses, short-term rental certificates, garbage collection certificates among other city licenses. The City Clerk is responsible for collection of City tax revenue.

Public requests for records must fill out an Open Records Request Form and submit it to cityclerk@cityofblueridgega.govcityclerk@cityofblueridgega.govor call Kelly Crowder at (706) 632-2091 ext.107.

The City of Blue Ridge enacted it's Downtown Development Authority in 2018. For more information about Blue Ridge's DDA, contact Board Chairman, Cesar Martinez at cesarmart2dda@gmail.com. If you are interested in serving on the DDA Board click here for an application. If you are interested in serving on one of the Boards Committees click here. All applications should be mailed to City Hall, 480 West First Street, Blue Ridge, Ga. 30513 with a copy emailed to Mr. Martinez.
